One of Wirrealpa's most unique attractions is the vast look of the outback plains from the Flinders Ranges. Its location creates a diverse range of flora and fauna common to the area. It has world-class fossil locations, the Grindstone Range and Aboriginal carvings.

Experience the intimacy of the hills combined with the vastness of the plains, while watching a kaleidoscope of colour as the light changes during the day. Established in 1856, Wirrealpa Station is a 1500sq km, sheep and cattle property combining a tourism enterprise, which is run by 4th generation pastoralists.
Have your first evening meal prepared for you so that all you have to do is unpack and enjoy the sunset. We can take you out to Lizard Rock for drinks or billy tea at sunset or give you a map of 4WD tours around the property. The proximity of the property to hills and plains results in a huge diversity of flora and fauna.
